Talking Heads Wiki:Announcement 2
Talking Heads Wiki is back!
Where did it go?
The website actually hasn't gone anywhere in a while — in the sense that it's been consistently online and operational for almost 11 months now, but also in the sense that it hasn't experienced much progress or development recently.
But now it's time to kickstart a new era of activity for the website, starting with the first promotional post since last year. Another exciting update is that the website is now better suited for mobile users, after previously being more desktop-oriented.

How does it work?
Talking Heads Wiki was created using MediaWiki, the same technology used by Wikipedia. You're probably pretty familiar with that website, so just imagine it in a smaller, more specific scale. This website aims to document everything about the band Talking Heads, and just like on Wikipedia, that information relies on public contributions. In other words, you can edit or create pages to help expand any information that the Wiki is currently lacking. Over time, as more people contribute, the website will become more useful for the fan community.
When you go to the website, you can create an account that lets you edit any page. There are guidelines in the Manual of Style to help you know the formats and standards for what articles should include. If you're interested but unsure where to start, you can always ask for help!
More to come soon!
The website is more than just a Wiki, with other sections being Talking Heads Archive for large-scale archiving of media related to the band, and Talking Heads Journal (formerly known as Talking Heads News) for articles about the band, operating similarly to music magazines/websites like NME or Rolling Stone.
These sections have been gradually developed since the website launched, and will soon receive many more updates and improvements. In particular, soon there will be more frequent articles published, including news coverage about what's going on in the world of Talking Heads, as well as an email newsletter that you can subscribe to so that you never miss the latest updates.
On top of this, there are many more exciting big plans for this website that will be expanded upon throughout the year!
