David Byrne's journal

David Byrne maintained a regular journal blog on his website between 2004 and 2014, followed by less frequent posts until 2021 on a new version of the website. The first entry was on March 18, 2004 at the beginning of the tour for his album Grown Backwards. The journal has included the description "DB's musings, reviews, polemics, tour logs, drawings, dreams, etc", and largely includes details of his travels while touring. His 2009 book Bicycle Diaries explores similar details from across these years.
