Following the bands breakout commercial success, and decision to stop touring in 1984, there have been a number of different Talking Heads Cover Bands and Tribute Acts. The bands range in style and size from large acts meant to emulate the band during their Stop Making Sense years, like Start Making Sense, to smaller groups like Psycho Killers, to bands that combine Talking Heads music with other artists, like Pink Talking Fish. There are also acts that feature longtime Talking Heads collaborators, like Mystic Bowie's Talking Dreads, which features Mystic Bowie, who played with Tom Tom Club for years.
