Details

Talking Heads continued their European tour with the Ramones.

Coincidentally, fellow CBGB alum Blondie was also on tour in Scotland. Guitarist Chris Stein remembered "The next day we were in Glasgow for the first time. By Some quirk of fate, the Ramones and Talking Heads were playing at Strathclyde University. The local media was all about "CBGB's in Glasgow," with the four bands [Ramones, Talking Heads, Blondie, and Television] playing on two nights. [...] The show was in some kind of big gym room and when the bands came on, the old wooden floor bounced along with the crowd jumping around."[1]
