• Lorde took interest in Talking Heads' music from an early age after seeing a video of the band on Top of the Pops, where they performed "Take Me to the River"
• Lorde was featured on Rolling Stone's "Musicians on Musicians" with David Byrne
• A24's tribute album for Stop Making Sense, called "Everyone's Getting Involved" features Lorde's version of "Take Me to the River," the Al Green track Talking Heads also covered.
