A Night of Stop Making Sense

A Night of Stop Making Sense refers to two events in June 2024, one in Los Angeles and one in New York City, each featuring a screening of Stop Making Sense followed by a Q&A with Talking Heads. The events were first announced in April 2024, presented by A24 and Sister Midnight.

In addition to a screening of the film, each of the events includes a performance of a song from the film by an artist who appeared on the A24 tribute album Everyone's Getting Involved, released May 2024. The first night, on June 4th, was held at Hollywood's Pantages Theatre where the film was recorded, and featured a performance of Thank You For Sending Me An Angel by Blondshell. The second night, on June 13th, will be held at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre and will feature Found a Job by The Linda Lindas. The Los Angeles Q&A was originally set to be hosted by Fred Armisen but was replaced by Andy Richter. The New York Q&A will be hosted by Questlove.
