In North America, Burning Down The House (1983) was the band's highest charting song, reaching 9th place on the US Billboard Hot 100. and 8th in Canada. Likewise, the album Speaking in Tongues was their highest charting album in the US, peaking at 15 on the weekly sales on the Billboard 200 chart.
Little Creatures (1985) was the band's best-selling album, selling 2 million copies.
